To coincide with the month of the pearl in June, Paspaley, internationally recognised as the world’s leading Australian South Sea pearl producer invited guest to experience the Five Virtues of how pearls are graded with a hands on session to becoming a pearl connoisseur. Guests enjoyed champagne and canapés indulging in a rare chance to taste ‘pearl meat’ an exquisite delicacy. Featured presenter and host Marilynne Paspaley, Director of Paspaley and owner/founder of Pinctada Hotels and Resorts and daughter of Paspaley founder Nicholas Paspaley Senior, enthralled us with a keynote speech on the history of her family and the company that has pioneered the Australian South Sea pearl industry for over 75 years. Proceeds donated to VIVARCH Royal Children’s Hospital Charity.
