EWIB initiated by Janine Lum began as a collaborative effort between the European Chambers in Melbourne 2010 with an explicate women’s focus on business and personal development. European Women in Business (EWIB) is a unique networking group which brings together business women interested in European culture and lifestyle to showcase premium fashion, lifestyle brands, beauty and business in exclusive and elegant venues. The network focuses on enriching, educating and inspiring women by presenting high quality guest speakers as well as assisting those involved to forge new, mutually beneficial business relationships.
We provide a unique networking platform for female entrepreneurs to promote themselves as well as receiving fabulous benefits / discounts from prominent supporting partners to help keep business and personal costs down.

Janine Lum has some 20 years of experience as director of Chic Productions, specialising in event management, model management, featured dance shows, choreography, fashion parades, promotions and event concepts. Exemplifying a strong service acumen by creating events with style, difference and passion!
Promoting and producing small scale intimate events to large scale shows Janine’s prudent and careful execution of events is to ensure everyone involved brings their best to the event table. Accomplishments include Co-ordinating talent for Channel 7, the exclusive rights for the Shanghai, International Model Contest in conjunction with the Chinese Cultural Development and Chinese Government (70 models from all over the world competing), Royal Melbourne Show Fashion Parades and a six year dance show residency at Crown Casino.
Janine has a love of European cultures, style and design, not to mention an insatiable shopper and passion for luxury Real Estate and property. She is also a passionate supporter and volunteer with many animal and wildlife funds, including Free The Bears, Wildlife Victoria, Animals Australia, Edgar's Mission and IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare).
Alex Bialocki
Alex Bialocki worked at the big three advertising agencies for ten years before getting into event and video production. He has been running Encore Productions since the late eighties which has been producing large corporate events, videos and TV commercials. Alex has a degree in accounting and marketing and speaks several languages. After living in Europe in 2004 he is very passionate about everything European and combines his business connections and event management skills to this growing organisation.

Julie Romania
Julie’s experience stemmed from working for one of Australia’s Big 4 Banks for 15 years where she oversaw and co-ordinated client company events throughout Australia and Asia. Specially known for her ability to “think outside the box,” Julie is sought after by sophisticated, top-notch individuals, for her event planning talents. Julie carries connections and relationships with a number of suppliers and venues throughout Australia, Europe and Internationally. Julie joined EWIB as she felt that Janine’s holistic approach to events combined with honesty and integrity was what set Janine apart from other organization’s. To be able to create an environment for Women & Men to network in a welcoming surrounding together with exceptional speakers, content all set within a luxurious environment. Luxury at its finest. Today, she takes her decades of experience to channel it into EWIB Luxury Networking Events.
