Vivienne Nguyen AM, Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC)  Chairperson  is a passionate advocate for diversity. 


Viv has an extensive track record as a business executive and a community leader in the corporate, community and government settings. She has held roles at AMP Asset Management and ANZ Banking Group where she was the Head of Risk Management for the ANZ Margin Lending portfolio and their diversity strategy.
 
Viv became a member of the Order of Australia for significant service to Victoria’s multicultural community and has played a critical role in the Victorian government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She is on the Victorian government’s Anti-Racism Taskforce to help inform and drive the state’s Anti-Racism Strategy, amongst many other interdepartmental committees and ministerial advisory taskforces and councils.

As a well rounded business executive and community leader with over 25 years experience in the corporate and community sectors including working at both a national and global level and serving on a number of Boards in Victoria.   Vivienne is experienced in strategy, leadership and influence at the most senior level, multicultural affairs and government sector, with a track record in delivering results in complex environments
 
Along with her corporate career, Viv is a tireless advocate for grassroots participation and representation, in civic engagement and participation. 
 
She is a recipient of the Centenary Medal, Victorian Women’s Honour Roll and Rotary International’s Paul Harris Fellow.

Nikki Palun - owner and winemaker at Susuro & Octtava Wines

Nikki is a formidable force in the wine industry after 20 years  and then a decade at her urban winery, Nikki combines her passion for innovative winemaking and the local market with her deep-rooted connections to the Chinese market. Cultivating over 30 years of speaking Mandarin and engaging in cultural and business engagements.  

A leader in her field, Nikki chairs the Small Makers Committee for Australian Grape and Wine, the wine industry's federal body, advcating for small wineries nationwide.  She also sits on numerous committees in the industry, including DIEW committee whose goal is to create more equality and inclusiveness within all aspects of the wine industry.  She is also instrumental in efforts to re-enter the Chinese market for Australian wines and serves on trade committees both at a state and federal level.
